February 8, 2008 - Commercial Building Fire
At 2031 St. Leonard Fire and Rescue was dispatched to box 308 for a building fire. Engine 71 responded to the 9700
block of H.G. Trueman Road to find a 2 story commercial building with fire showing. At 2045 Tanker 7 was also
dispatched to the scene. The engine crew advanced an attack line through the front door and evacuation tones were
sounded shortly after at which time the crew exited the building. The engine crew provided support throughout the
night while tanker 7 provided continuous water support.
September 26, 2008- Single Vehicle Accident
Late Friday night a single vehicle was traveling on Parran Road, the driver lost control and the vehicle left the
roadway. Ambulance 79 and Engine 71 responded. The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle and refused
medical treatment all units were placed in service.
Vehicle into a telephone pole - On Sunday October 5, 2008 a vehicle traveling on Broomes Island Road left the
roadway and struck a telephone pole. The single occupant suffered incapacitating injuries and was flow by MSP
Trooper 7 to PG Shock Trauma for further evaluation.

Sunday - October 12, 2008 - Scooter Accident
A scooter being operated in the area of Parkers Creek Road and St. Leonard Road was involved in a collision with a
car. The rider of the scooter received incapacitating injuries and was flown by MSP Trooper 7 to PG Shock Trauma
for further evaluation.

Saturday - October 11, 2008 - Motorcycle accident Route 4 south of Ball road.
Two sport bikes lost control and 2 drivers and 1 passenger were ejected. One patient received incapacitating injuries
and was flown to PG Shock Trauma by MSP Trooper 7. The remaining patients were taken to Calvert Memorial
Hospital for further treatment.
