Engine Runs Building Fire in Prince Frederick

February 1, 2005 - At 0617 hours, Stations 2, 6, 7, and 3 along with Charles Station 5 were dispatched to 305 Main Street for a building fire.  Engine 21 arrived on location to find a two story building with heavy smoke showing.  Engine 21's crew advanced a line into the first floor while Engine 61's crew pulled a second line and advanced it into the basement through Side 3.  E-21 made quick work of the upstairs fire located in the kitchen while E-61 quickly knocked the fire in the basement.  Engine 71's crew arrived on location and pulled a backup line off of E-61 and assisted their crew with ventilation and a secondary search in the basement.  Engine 71 returned to service at 0730 hours.
