At
1049hrs Commercial Haz-Mat box 216 was alerted for a chemical spill with an
unknown amount coming from a malfunctioning X-ray machine in the
Calvert Medical Office Building. Engine 72 responded along with units
from Company 2, Company 6, Company 83, and Company 3. Engine
72 staged at CMH while a crew from Company 2 located the spill.
The spill involved a film developer which was categorized as a skin
irritant. The building's HVAC system was secured to contain
any fumes to division one while the material was contained. |
