First Fire Of Year January 10, 2005 - At 1942 hours, Solomons, St. Leonard, Bay District, and Hollywood were dispatched to Concho Court for a chimney fire. Chief 3A arrived on location to find a working chimney fire with fire extension into the second floor and visible fire through the roof. Engine 34's crew pulled an attack line into the second floor of the house and made quick work of the interior fire while Engine 71's crew pulled a second line, laddered the roof, and worked on the exterior fire and opened up the roof. Squad 7 arrived and split the crew with half going into the basement to remove the contents from the chimney while the others worked on opening up the outside of the structure and checking for further extensions. Company 3 and 7 worked on the scene before returning to service at 2128 hours. Units: Engine 71 (Chief 7B McConnell), Squad 7 (Captain J.
