Barricade Leads to Small Basement Fire July 26, 2005 - At 2225, Station 7 was dispatched to 735 Planters Wharf Road to stand-by for a barricade situation. Enroute, all units were cancelled by dispatch. At 2234 hours, Stations 7, 3 and 2 along with St. Mary's Station 9 were dispatched to 735 Planters Wharf Road for reported fire in the basement. Engine 71 arrived on location to find light smoke showing. Further investigation revealed that the fire had been extinguished by the county SWAT team prior to our arrival. Chief 7A held Engine 71, Squad 7, and Ambulance 79. The Squad crew checked for any extensions with the thermal imager while the engine crew worked on ventilation.
