Fire Showing on Gregg Drive

March 5, 2005 - At 0412 hours, Stations 3 and 7 along with St. Mary's Stations 9 and 3 were dispatched to 1364 Gregg Drive off of Coster Road for a house fire.  Engine 31 arrived on location to find a single story dwelling with fire through the roof on Sides B and C.  A working fire dispatch (2nd alarm) was then dispatched adding Station 2 to the call.  Engine 31 attempted an interior attack before being called out of the structure by command due to partial roof collapse.  Crews then performed an exterior attack to knock the rest of the fire down.  Units stayed on the scene until the arrival of the fire marshal.  Stations 3 and 7 remained on the scene performing overhaul to the structure before returning to service at 0647 hours.
