Odor of Gas in Residence - 305 Box
September 19, 2005 - At 1410 hours, Stations 3 and 7 along with St. Mary's Stations 9, 7, and 3 were dispatched to 185 Harbor Drive in Drum Point for odor of gas. Engine 71arrived on location with nothing evident. The crew pulled a cross-lay and began to investigate while Engine 33 arrived and picked up E-71's line. Squad 7 arrived on location and established the 305 command. The Squad crew secured the gas while the engine's crew along with Tanker 27's crew found the source to be a faulty oven. Squad 7 ventilated the house and all hazards were removed. Ambulance 78 transported the homeowner to CMH.
