Smoke in Building

July 30, 2005 - At 1912 hours, Stations 7, 2, 3, and 6 were dispatched to 4955 St. Leonard Road, at Dickerson's Field of Flowers, for smoke in the building.  Engine 71 arrived on location immediately after dispatch with light smoke present inside the business. Engine 71's crew pulled a cross-lay to stand by while Squad 7's crew investigated with the thermal imager.  Command (Sgt. 7) held units from Company 7 only with a charcoal grill being used inside an adjacent business.  Squad 7's crew handled smoke removal. All units returned to service at 1932 hours.
