Smoke in Building - 304 Box

September 19, 2005 -  At 1830 hours, Stations 3 and 7 along with St. Mary's Stations 9 and 7 were dispatched to Southern Pines Apartments at 50 Appeal Lane for smoke in the laundry room. Engine 71 responded and took side "B", sending its manpower in to investigate along with crews from Engine 33 and Truck 3. Engine 71's crew disassembled the dryer and found the source to be faulty wiring. Command then placed the box in service and all units returned to quarters at 1853 hours.
