Triple Fly-Out March 17, 2005 - At 1920 hours, Stations 2 and 7 along with EMS Station 4 were dispatched to Route 4 and Mountain Trail for an auto accident reported serious. Chief 2A arrived on location with confirmed entrapment in both vehicles involved with one being on its side. Squad 2 went on location and worked to free the single occupant in the Trans AM. Squad 7 arrived on location, stabilizing the vehicle on its side, and then started extrication of one patient from that vehicle. Ambulance 78 arrived on location and started care of the second patient in the overturned vehicle which had been removed by bystanders prior to arrival of emergency personnel. Squad 7 extricated the driver of the overturned vehicle and loaded him on to Trooper 7 along with the passenger. Squad 2 finished extrication and loaded the patient in the other vehicle onto Eagle 2. Trooper 7 and Eagle 2 transported all three patients priority 1 to area trauma centers. Company 7 units returned to service at 2053 hours.
