Working Kitchen Fire in Lusby

January 26, 2005 - At 2023 hours, Stations 3 and  7 along with St. Mary's  9 and 7 were dispatched to 12940 Rousby Hall Road for a house fire.  Chief 3A arrived on location to find fire showing on Side 3.  Engine 71 arrived on location and picked up Engine 33's line.  Engine 71's crew along with Engine 33's crew advanced two hose lines in the house and made quick work of the fire which was contained to the kitchen only with minor extension.  Squad 7 arrived on location, set up ventilation, and secured the utilities.  Units from Solomons and St. Leonard remained on the scene performing salvage and overhaul before returning to service at 2215 hours.
